Between the last week of January & March 2025, across 9 weeks, Our Gita Project 2.0 (๐Ž๐†๐ ๐Ÿ.๐ŸŽ) brought together educators, professionals, parents & seekers of personal development, to explore how the timeless teachings of the ๐†๐ข๐ญ๐š can meet us in the mess & magic of everyday life.

OGP 2.0 unfolded across ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซย powerful tracks:
๐Ÿ”ธ Gita for Youth & Education
๐Ÿ”ธ Gita for Leadership
๐Ÿ”ธ Gita for Self-Development
๐Ÿ”ธ Gita for Communication & Relationships

Each track was a commitment to what we called a

The Karma Yajna is the ๐‘ ๐‘œ๐‘ข๐‘™ of Our Gita Project. In traditional settings, Gita is revered for its ๐‘๐‘Žฬ„๐‘Ÿ๐‘Ž๐‘š๐‘Žฬ„๐‘Ÿ๐‘กโ„Ž๐‘–๐‘˜๐‘Ž value – a guide for moksha, spiritual liberation. And rightly so. But letโ€™s be honest: not everyone is seeking spiritual emancipation right now. Most of us are simply trying to live a better life:

๐Ÿ”ธ As a manager under performance pressure
๐Ÿ”ธ A parent watching a child struggle
๐Ÿ”ธ A professional facing toxic politics at work
๐Ÿ”ธ A teacher in a crowded classroom
๐Ÿ”ธ Or just as a human being stuck in traffic wondering if there’s more to life

OGP makes the Gita ๐‘ฃ๐‘ฆ๐‘Žฬ„๐‘ฃ๐‘Žโ„Ž๐‘Žฬ„๐‘Ÿ๐‘–๐‘˜๐‘Ž – relevant for daily life. This is not Gita as discourse. This is ๐†๐ข๐ญ๐š ๐ข๐ง ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.

It means that learning is not the goal. ๐‘ณ๐’Š๐’—๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ is.

It means:
๐Ÿ‘‰ We didnโ€™t study all 700 shlokas. We focused on 2 shlokas per weekโ€”a carefully curated set of 18 across 9 core concepts in each track.
๐Ÿ‘‰ We came ๐‘๐‘Ÿ๐‘’๐‘๐‘Ž๐‘Ÿ๐‘’๐‘‘, not just present.
๐Ÿ‘‰ We ๐‘‘๐‘–๐‘ ๐‘๐‘ข๐‘ ๐‘ ๐‘’๐‘‘, not just listened.
๐Ÿ‘‰ We ๐‘ โ„Ž๐‘Ž๐‘Ÿ๐‘’๐‘‘ย vulnerablyโ€”bringing our parenting dilemmas, career confusions, moral grey zones into the Zoom discussions.
๐Ÿ‘‰ We didnโ€™t stop at reflectionโ€”we built ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ฌ to integrate the Gita into our lives.

The Karma Yajna was not easy. Itโ€™s easier to attend a Gita ๐‘๐‘Ÿ๐‘Ž๐‘ฃ๐‘Ž๐‘โ„Ž๐‘Ž๐‘› and go back to โ€œreal life.โ€ But to bring the Gita into real life? That takes commitment. And for those who walked all 9 weeks with us, It was transformational.

We have condensed the happenings of OGP 2.0 into a set of Souvenirs – one per track – and are offering it to you for download and perusal at your leisure!
