Inner Presence comprises the following four facets:

Compassionate & Nurturing Presence (Matru Bhava)

Tranquil & Witnessing Presence (Sakshi Bhava)

Joyous Acting Presence (Kartru Bhava)

Developing Inner Presence

At IIW, we enable people to decode/ decipher their inner drama, identify the sources of their inner conflicts and equip them to heal them by channeling their own inner resources.

This is sought to be achieved in two phases/ stages,

1. Awakening Phase/ Stage
2. Nurturing Phase/ Stage

During the Awakening phase,

1. The sources of one’s inner conflicts, namely, fear, anger, disgust and distraction are identified

2. Inner well springs of compassion, friendliness, joyous yearning are awakened and channeled towards healing one’s inner conflicts and wounds.

3. Further, one’s inner lake of stillness/ tranquility is also awakened and tapped into.

During the Nurturing Phase/ Stage,

Six Indic/ Yogic Practices are inculcated to deepen the healing process and to strengthen the innate sources of compassion, camaraderie, joy and tranquility.

The Indic/ Yogic practices are

1. Boundary Discipline (Yama)
2. Inner Cleansing (Niyama)
3. Increasing Vital Energy (Tapas)
4. Re-directing Energy (PratyAhArA)
5. Sustained Attention (DhyAnA)
6. Dispassionate Action (NishkAmya Karma)

Through continuous and incessant practice, the following facets of inner presence takes root:

2. Loving & Caring Presence (Sakhi Bhava)
3. Compassionate & Nurturing Presence (Matru Bhava)
